Who else is excited!?!?! I know its early but im so keen to see Tomac out there healthy again on the same bike that brought Villopoto so much success. Red faced RD trying to explain why he was a minute and a half behind. TOMAC and Herlings are similar outdoors. All or nothing. Predictions for the 2016 MX season. 1. Tomac 2. Roczen 3. Dungey 4. Barcia 5. Anderson

I would love to see Kenny, Dungey and Tomac battle it out. Barcia too if he can settle down. I just hope these guys stay healthy through supercross.

I want roczen to win but I'd love to see tomac go as fast as he did last season. It was just so awesome to watch
Agree with your predictions. Maybe Dungey and roczen reversed, not sure

If TOMAC rides like he did last year minus the crash, no one will stop him. I would just think he should have that kawi/shoulders dialed by now...

The bike that has brought RV 4 consecutive SX titles and is currently not bringing Tomac similar success? I see wins in Tomac's future, but not consistency for the title this year. RD for the championship again.

This. Tomac might win some motos if he gets much more comfortable quickly but let's be realistic. It will be the Dungey and Roczen show.

There's a lot of racing before the outdoors.

I think ET can still get back to where he was. They are still working on setup as they dialed the bike back for his weaker shoulders. Better every week and i don't think the slippery tracks we have had lately suit his style at all.

That said, Dungey is firing on all cylinders at the mo and will be no push over.

It took Villopoto to retire to hand over championships to Dungey. I hope the same doesnt happen again. Roczen second outdoors last year and second (maybe) in sx this year. I dont want to wait for Dungey to retire to hand the #1 plate to someone else. He must be dethroned!

Roczen won the title in 2014 so you can scrap the handing over part.

Villopoto sat the 14 season out due to elective knee surgery that was fucking with him the sx season prior (which he won) so he couldnt defend his 13 title.

Tomac will be more efficient for the Outdoors. The issues than he faces currently in SX, will be less marked on the MX tracks. Then this issues, will be, at least partially, solved.

Also, I'm quite sure that Pourcel will be better than last summer (perhaps even way better...).

Dungey was in that same title chase which means you don't have to wait for Dungey to retire to have another champion.

This. The posts before each SX and MX season about how many different riders can win a race are hilarious.

"There are literally 18 different riders that are capable of winning a race this year!!!!!"

Lol.

Just a few observations:
1. To the OP, Gee, hate on Dungey much?
2. The bike that brought RV so much success is gone. 2016 is an all new bike.
3. How dominant Tomac will be, if he even gets there, is yet to be determined.
4. I think Barcia will be in the mix this year. Showed it towards the end of the season last year that he can run the pace, but I don't see him being consistent through the whole season.
5. I think it will come down to RD and Roczen.
6. I am WAY stoked for outdoors to start. I've always loved outdoors much more than SX. It's where my roots are.
