I would offer to supplement the purse money at every supercross and outdoor national with an additional $2,000 for each and every rider who qualifies for the main. This would of course be contingent upon elimination of stroke discrimination. The official sanctioning body might try to reject this offer, until the riders and fans heard about it. Smile

With that kind of money you can start your own two stroke or open series and probably attract some top talent.

I did some figuring when Powerball was up to 1.3 Billion (actually, had some help!)

1.3 Billion Dollars...divided by the US Population (300 Million) = 4.33 Million for each person.

Poverty solved. Smile

This was a Facebook post for people who can't do mental math, and easily believable due to our minds not being able to think in terms of so much money. But yeah, its $4/perso, so everyone can get a few double cheeseburgers...

I am sorry to tell you this but there is a thing called taxes. So take 1.3 billion and cut that in half. You get 650,000,000. Wait one second.... More taxes. Lets cut that in half again. So your looking at taking 325,000,000 home with you........ I think i just blacked out.

First thing I'd do, pay off Peick's fine
Second, Start a team much like Team Gus, and push for some sort of factory support, even if it was a few bikes, it'd help
Third, implement a $5000 prize for the top privateer at each SX and MX race.
Fourth, hookers and blow

If you take the money in 1 lump sum rather than being paid over 30 years then you only get 62% of the money. The Feds then automatically take 25% of your winnings but you'll owe them another 14.6% of the total on top of that by the end of the year (highest tax bracket is 39.6% remember) and depending on what state you live in you will owe even more.

So if the pot is $1.4 billion and you want the cash then you are going to pocket about $520 million.
