There's nothing unhinged on this thread except you. People are making valid points about Deegan's shitty behaviour toward his competitors. He behaves in an unsportsmanlike manner constantly and calls out people for things that aren't even their fault - such as the Hymas incident. If you think Deegan has a point in this instance you clearly have not watched the video. The fact that you actually like the way Deegan behaves - and his FMX areshole father who clearly puts him up to this stuff for social media clicks - shows a lot about you. Jett smartened up and toned it down over the past few years. He realized that he can just take his trophies and money and go play golf in his free time. Deegan may take longer to grow out of Danger Boy and into Captain 450 if he gets there. He’s talking unspecified surgery after the season. To be fair, if, and a big if, JA did that and left Jett in the dust, I'd have said it was a brilliant move. But it didn't work out that way. I suspect that Anderson knows the Lawrences don't even really consider him any sort of rival, he's pretty much irrelevant to them. That was the attitude driving Jett's frustration when JA wouldn't get out of the way in supercross. From Jett's point of view he's just some guy from another era holding him up. For someone with Anderson's ego who can't accept they're on the way out, this is all too much for him.

All the bullshit swinging here, the fact is he chose to push Jett wide to block a pass, and he intentionally slowed him down. All intention was to be a dick, which is what he proved to be, again. The facts, and the intention.

I don’t think one pass was made on the outside in that corner the whole day. If Anderson RACED for his position, he would have stayed on the inside, the fastest line in that corner. But he let his emotions cloud his judgement there. Had he just focused on being the fastest rider possible around the track, he would have kept the lead longer than what he did.

So what are we really arguing here? I say it's intentional petty revenge, you say it's him being stupid. Either way it was bad racing. That decision cost him 2 positions. And embarrassed to boot. And, I like JA, I can only imagine what people who don't like him think. TM
