I grew up racing NEMA for most of the 80's. A lot of really fast guys started there, like Doug Henry, Gene Neumec, Keith Johnson, Mike Treadwell, and Scott Sheik. I always see people here who raced together, but they are all from Ca., Fla, etc. Just wondering if there are any old New England mini riders on here

I'm 41, and back in 80's, Tony was always a class under me. Some i'm guessing 39 or 40.

I have no idea why people don't like Mike. It's not like he has ever tried to hit someone's killswitch, flipped off multiple riders, acted like a spoiled child, or wore believe the hype shirts to his first pro national.

I think he "left" because Roger and Tony didn't see eye to eye. Then he went to KTM, and when Roger came on board, it was the end of him on Orange.

I have a maytag and this happened to mine. I did some searching online. It was the clutch. I took it all apart and had to regrease the bearings. It's been 3 years, and it still works perfect.

In the 80's, I would send baseball cards to players with a self addressed stamped envelope. This was before the autograph craze, and superstar players would just send the card back signed. Nolan Ryan, Wade Boggs, Mike Schmidt, you name it. Gary Carter sent me the card back, unsigned, with a form letter that said he wouldn't sign it, because...

I agree with Dr Sweden. I'm a huge Canard fan (I live in Oklahoma), but sometimes I wish he would lay off the Jesus stuff. Maybe it's because I hear it everyday here in the bible belt, but sometimes I really don't give a shit what JOB did 2000 years ago.
