I'm sure we all have our personal agenda, but I think it's always a topic is because religion is being promoted by him more than anything else, and I really think he wants it that way, for people to understand religion is very central for him. If he mentioned his trainer or a relative, or even the many doctors treating him with same amount of passion, that person would to get much of the attention as well? At least that is how I see it, but I could be wrong. As long as that happens, I think it's hard to avoid the topic.

Anyone calling him out on a moto board then claiming "these are just my thoughts/beliefs" and 100% hypocrites.
I agree with Dr Sweden. I'm a huge Canard fan (I live in Oklahoma), but sometimes I wish he would lay off the Jesus stuff. Maybe it's because I hear it everyday here in the bible belt, but sometimes I really don't give a shit what JOB did 2000 years ago.

Trey is still young and seems to heal pretty fast, so I could see a possible return in some Nats later in the year. Hopefully Honda will keep him on another year, depending on his contract.

Exactly! You choose to follow his Twitter feed and complain? Do you tune into Christian radio in your car and complain they don't play gangster rap?

So you know what, get over yourself. You are just not that important. If Trey has shown anything, it's that nothing is going to change his outlook on life or his beliefs. If suffering through 3 major injuries back-to-back, loosing his dad, and probably loosing fans and fame can't get him to turn his back on God and change his beliefs or get him to start saying and doing what the world wants him to, do you really think a couple of people complaining on Vital is gonna change him? Do you think he cares that much what you or Doc think? Yeah, didn't think so.

It's funny but in this day and age, a kid like Trey is much more of a rebel in the moto scene than a kid like Hansen. Anyone can just do what's cool and try to act tough on the outside, it takes some real strength to stand out from the crowd. Trey has mental strength to spare. Just wait, 2013 SX champ right there!

I see an interview with Trey where he never brought religion into conversation. YOU brought it up and decided to start this pissing match again. Don't act innocent.

Damn,

Great to see him up and around and at the track with a smile on his face.

It is also good to see him using this down time to pursue outside sponsors.

It is obvious from that clip that he is getting set to pitch the Amish-made radiant heater proposal.

(now we will see how somebody drags religon into this)

Good to see him walking and in good spirits.

The only thing that concerns me about this video is that he believes what the doctors are telling him about having 100% recovery. I am sorry, but no injured body part is ever 100% again, especially with such traumatic and devastating injuries. 100% recovery just doesn't happen.

An Amish-made heater proposal? Is that for a house, car, dirt bike? Just curious, haven't heard of it.

Wow!

There are plenty of people who believe otherwise.

Once in a while Trey will say something like "I want to thank Jesus and Honda..."

Thats it! No sermon, no condemnation to believers or non believers alike, no finger pointing, no shame on all you sinners....

Just like maybe one word, "God" or "Jesus" in his podium speech and people are like, "all he does is preach his religion to us".

If that insults you, than............. whatever?

Trey is a stand up dude, and if anything his actions speak to his words.

That is more than I can say for most of us.
I don't believe in a god but can respect someone that does and walks the walk.

Maybe I'm dumb but I don't understand why someone would even bring religion up in this thread?

Yeah, he'd be a lot better off telling himself that life as he knows it is over and there's no way he'll continue doing what he loves. That would help him heal.

Some of you people are unbelievable. EVERY SINGLE Trey Canard thread turns into a religious pissing match with you guys. I guess some of you forget YOUR constitution. Isn't there a little something in there about freedom of speech? Religion?

Lets get over our overly sensitive selves and just wish young Trey Canard a speedy and complete recovery m-kay?

Yeah... like Fused Vertebrates = 100% recovery!!

Is a year of Honda's paychecks worth the risk?

Trey is going through so much right now!! The kid must be going nuts!! I really feel for him.

Healing is a process that uses both your mind and your body. Give the kid a break and and send him positive vibes. He will certainly need it during those dark days when he is recovering and wants to ride so badly, but is not allowed to because he hasn't healed up yet.

I find it absolutely incredible that anyone here would think that they have the credentials to question Trey’s methods when they can see the results. If you can show me another person on this planet that is more adept at dealing with adversity with as much class and success as Trey, please point them out. One of the things I admire the most about Trey is his ability to take what he does very seriously without taking himself too seriously, the exact opposite of what you see on this forum every day.

Trey is not just a roll model for how to be a successful motocross racer, he’s a role model for how to be a successful human being. Everybody on this site can learn something from him if they’re willing to shut up and pay attention.

I really like Trey and am a big fan, although Adrew Shorts interviews make me smile everytime, he's always positive.

Although if I was Honda and he thanked Jesus first I'd be none to happy, it does get annoying as they never bring it into the interview when something bad happens.

If you actually listed to what Trey says and even followed him on twitter you would realize how completely far from the truth you are with that statement.

After watching the two of them get loaded up in the ambulances...I left. Couldn't take it. I'd just seen too much of this...yet...

Here we are, today.

Trey's walking around giving interviews.

Wow.

I hope all is going well for Mo, too.

Truly special young-men that are extremely dedicated athletes.

Hey, Davey, thanks...perfect timing.
