12/22/2023 2:48pm I think the Monster gig with Triumph in Europe has to do with the ownership. They had Monster sponsoring when they where Factory Kawasaki. When iceone took over Monster was gone as well. Hewitt was the reason Rockstar stepped in if not mistaken, but that brand is getting out of the sport for the best part.

Don’t combine ICE MX with EMX. Start a new eMX only class on amateur level and let that work by itself. When amateurs and local pros are turning faster lap times and size of class grows the transition to a Pro class will take care of itself. *When local pros on eMX bikes start beating Factory riders in open practices at test tracks it will be obvious.

Good point, the current electric racing classes suck. Formula E races are terrible. As long as the sanctioning bodies don’t completely change the tracks and length of races to benefit battery bike’s they probably won’t dominate motocross racing. Not yet anyway. For my money, there isn’t an e-bike yet that’s more than a novelty/toy. They look fun, but not ready for real riding.

You sound like a gay friend of mine who's been telling me for ages I don't know what I'm missing, lol... Still cold as ICE. I drool over Jett Law's HRC CRF, I'm not excited one bit about the Stark (or the CRF-E or whatever its name is), and what's the point of a dirtbike that doesn't excite you? Just not for me. Actually, if I had that cash to throw at something electric I don't need, I'd go with a Turbo Levo in a heartbeat.

12/17/2023 6:20am Because it’s completely different to what we are used to and change needs time. I think it it will either split in separate classes. If the E-bikes will take over it will kill the sport how we know it and will change it forever. From a competitive standpoint I still need to be convinced these bikes are able to run...

So let me get this straight, Honda was adamant about killing the 2-stroke and now they are going balls deep into e-bikes? Can you see why I support Yamaha and KTM?

12/16/2023 12:27pm Brian did already have a stint on the Honda and that wasn’t the bike for him and that didn’t change last season. He kept it professional but for sure he didn’t like the Honda.
