I never ran the 5, but I have had the new Starcross 6 Mid-soft on my bike for a bit now. Around 12 hours now. I can say the durability has been great. No chunking but the rear is now showing signs its headed that way. Im in colorado and ride soft track in the AM and concrete in the afternoon. Im coming off Pirelli Mid softs. Id say the performance from the Pirelli is much better. Especially the front. I feel the Starcross has really good grip till it doesn't. The rear will step out unexpectedly under load. Happened...

Haha. Seems that happens a lot since his Dad had him rescind the claim too once he realized how big of a deal it had become.

AMA Burkeen also said Engine builder Derrick Harris called him before LL to discuss how to claim. Thats kind of a big detail I think. He never spoke about that in either of his 30 min interviews
