8/10/2025 3:13pm That's pretty awesome. He'll downplay it on Pulp, but he came out on top and persevered. Congratulations to Phil and his team.

7/12/2025 4:46am Blind landing jumps are pretty hairy. Especially on open track days when you have all types of riders who may not hit the jumps and just roll some of them. During race days there are generally better flaggers and riders are of the same skill set. I have had many an ass-pucker hitting a blind jump only to see someone who rolled it and I had no way of knowing they were there. It's a point of no return type of jump.

12/20/2024 4:26am I love the powertuner app! I love messing with maps, trying different stuff and use it to keep track of maintenance as well. It's one of my favorite things about my YZ 450

11/2/2024 6:48am It’s not a garbage dump. It is byproduct from mining Phosphate called Phosophogypsum (sp?). It is real nasty shit, contains all kinds of heavy metals and has hints of radioactivity. The state has no clue what to do with it so they let Mosaic stack it up in huge mounds all across the state. If you want to see the aftermath of this stuff reaching the environment, look up the Piney Point disaster (same company, not far away from the track). I completely despise them for a million reasons, I have personally seen what their raping of the land has...

9/5/2024 4:55am It would take someone like her to make it work....she just never would quit. But even she was deep in debt, i believe she had tax liens, and her equipment was all pretty worn out. On top of that once she fell ill every piece of shit in Chester county started walking off with every thing they could. They would swoop in every time she was in the hospital. A true shame.

9/4/2024 5:02pm Anyone know whatever happened to the track that Ms Barb owned in South Carolina. She passed away a couple of years ago and the track has never opened afterwards. The name of the track was TNT. It was in Chester, SC. It was such a great facility and she was such a nice person.

8/24/2024 5:34pm I love Ted! He will stop and talk your ear off about oddball things, like the quality of tri-tip steak you can buy at Walmart, or how shitty California prices can be, to stories about his days in the construction business. I will miss talking to him, getting advice about how to deal with stuff, and shooting the shit about Texas vs California. His generosity toward his riders and his good heart cannot be replaced in this sport.. For what it is worth, at Hangtown this year he told me one of the reasons he is leaving because he is...

5/2/2024 6:12pm Glad there is expansion at Bone Valley. If the original track had better dirt in the berms it would be even better for us older guys with vintage bikes. It is a safe track for vintage bikes and bodies and not crowded. I understand it is too easy for you young fast guys but for some it is fun as hell.

3/31/2024 5:03pm 63 Yr old vet novice hear. 225 lbs. I race a ‘24 250F. It has all the power I need. 450s are just more than I want - easier to get into trouble, harder to hang on to, and more tiring to ride. I usually race at Glen Helen. Typically 12-15 in my class, and occasionally up to 25. I am usually in the top 5 going in to the first turn, and have even gotten the holeshot. No one pulls me going up Mt St Helen either.

3/31/2024 5:03pm For me it became about injuries. From the late 80's to 2005 I was on 250 2-strokes. My last 3 summers on 2-strokes were spent mostly on the sidelines with injuries. Then a friend let me try his 04' blue 250F and I had an awakening. I had so much more control over traction, jump attitude and corner speed...I felt safer and faster and for me it was a win/win. For the next 15 years I rode 250F's. I test rode a few friend's 450's and couldn't give them back fast enough...they all felt like a wheelbarrow full of bowling...
