I did this last year on YZ250x.......worked well except the goofy 250x gearing. If i was doing again i would have got the standard YZ. With Apex head - PV mod and FWW it was great woods bike and decent in MX. (gap from 3rd to 4th sucked) Others will chime in - you'll be compromised in both places.

Based on the way some people are reacting to that video, I'd say some of y'all don't realize when someone is being passive aggressive with you. That's what co workers who don't like each other do, just jab at each other passively. It's pretty obvious by the body language in that video that there's tension. That's my opinion, been wrong before though.

My thoughts and prayers will be with the Alessi's. I am sure Tony and Mike (and the family) are devastated. Tony always had Jeff in the corner of his eye, and loves those boys fiercely. I got to hang around Jeff once in a while, darn funny guy, always super cool to the kids and fans that approached him. He always supported our charity and was always good for a jersey or two for our fund raiser auctions. I don't know if Tony still comes on here once in a while, I will text him in a few days, and...

lay low and take care - I'm not sure that fella's elevator was going to the top floor. Honestly not sure he get's what's going on or what he was saying.

Blair is a fantastic announcer. He should be in the SX booth with James, JT on the floor. Ricky is not very good.

What ever you do. Get a twin air power flow kit, don’t want to suck dirt in and you will get more bottom end with the twin air. I had a 22 with a fmf pipe, get ecu and filter kit and bike was good. Made more power everywhere. So I’m sure porting and dual injections can do even more. Just be ready to change out timing chains at like 15-20 hours.

Nobody here can tell you how to hit a rutted corner. Watch some YouTube videos on it and go practice. The only way you will get better is by riding ruts. From now on every single time you hit a corner pick the deepest rut there. Every time. Force yourself to hit them and not be intimidated by them and before you know it you'll have them down. Not many can hit ruts perfect 10/10 times so don't beat yourself up if you climb out of a rut here and there. We all make mistakes. But like I said. Get...

I'm far from expert - but for me i find i can enter the rut with good pace and thru the center am ok but things go south on exit. What helps me is a point of contact - ie, get my inside foot back on the peg as soon as possible and on the gas with weight shifted to...

After a spinal injury on a 250 Smoker, I returned, feeling safer, just being on the track on a 125. Done with the speed, for me, not what it's about. Just being out there, havin' fun. And, making it look hot in the process, maybe a little too far!

Making comments like that with no substance just makes you look uneducated. He didn't come off as trying to cover anything or making excuses. He straight up said the communication has been very poor from HQ and they just started implementing changes such as no one is able to pay until the bike is ready. - I can't verify that, but it seems reasonable and I guess we'll see. It could go either way from here, but I'll just keep commenting as I come across significant findings - not opinions.

Repeat after me: "Comfort before power. Comfort before power. Comfort before power." For me, this is an iron-clad rule. I'd rather race a 125 against a full field of 450s than be on an uncomfortable machine.

I remember way back in the 90's one of the Cali suspension shops sent me back my (by accident) forks/shocks but somehow messed up and i ended up with Larry Brooks SX suspension. I'm a big man and was a State level Pro - not elite obviously......it almost comical. Worked good if i over jumped everything to flat LOL. It...

I grew up in the UK or GB.....people in USA don't have this kind of banter like u all do.......they just don't get it or understand this type of humour. Took me years to figure this out. In the UK it's a sign of endearment or affection for a mate. In North America it's one step from a punch in...
