Reading between the lines it sounds like Eli went straight to the motor home and Ian and others popped in to check on him. Eli told them just leave it to him. I think that’s what upset him. In the interview with Ian he says they all talked it over but Lewis’ tweet kind of suggests that he just stormed off after the race without saying anything.

There’s obviously been a lot of talk about Chase making a bunch of radical changes which is one data point. Now to hear that both factory Kawis have junked their entire setup multiple times in only half a season really lends credence to the theory that there’s a bike and/or team problem.

I understand all, it just seems to be crossing the line into personal business. I know the whole "other sports" deal, that doesn't make it right, this could be a very painful thing both husband, wife, and children are dealing with. I have been married 36 years myself, with a very public career, it would very hurtful to my family if our dirty laundry was aired and speculated on by strangers who know nothing about us. It all just seems a little too "Gladys Kravitz" for me. We don't know these people's private lives well enough to theorize anything.
