Yeah I know it’s not a brand new two stroke but nostalgia made me do it! I was a 13 year old kid in 93 and can remember watching Jeremy McGrath wax people on this bike. My uncle worked at a Honda dealership and I loved going there. The smell of new bike tires, the banners on the wall, guys working in the shop. It was heaven to a kid like me. I wanted one so bad. So this was my chance. My buddy bought her brand new, rode it a handful of times and started a business so it...

I've got a line on a very nice 1997 KX250 a guy bought and never uses. I'm working him. Other than that I agree though, hard to find bikes like that.

Every year I watch the scenes and it brings it all right back. The chills, the anger, the watery eyes.... and finally, the resolve. God bless all those who lost their lives...their families too. ...and all the LEO and first responder heroes. Bless those who went on to defend our freedom. Especially those who paid the ultimate price. Never forget...

Take/ship those forks to any reputable suspension shop and have them inspected/rebuilt/revalved/sprung for the the boys weight and ability. Factory Connection would be my first choice. No amount of advice on here or adjustments of the stock fork are going to really help him based on his weight and ability.

I don't have much to add other than whatever one you end up with is very likely to be a bad ass dirt bike to rip around.

I think it really depends on what terrain people are riding. The AT81 is a very popular tire choice where I'm from. I use them myself and other than the rear wearing down a little quicker than I'd like, I have zero complaints. Getting this thread back on track. I agree with those above who lean towards a 2T for...

Here's my '89 covid build. Finally done with the world wide scavenger hunt: I'm pretty sure Lucky Nino has the baddest '89's in the world. Props to him for helping me shave some weight off my bike. Thanks to Tom Morgan and Gary Faxon too, they both did amazing work. I was stoked to see these guys having fun on a couple '89's recently. Everyone should own a 125 no matter what age they are:

Quick summary. A 39 yr old member of the family, married with 2 kids. He works with a bunch of guys who happen to love moto/dirt bikes. So Kevin, who used to ride in his teens/twenties goes out and buys a old RM250 to go riding with the work crew. Long story short he wads it up terribly within the first few rides of having the bike, resulting n some pretty serious injuries that kept him away from work for a solid 6 weeks or so. Anyway his boss felt like shit because he was the one trying to get...

If you are just looking to explore back roads, gravel roads and the odd non technical trail I would highly suggest a DRZ400S. You can pick them up cheap, huge following with support. Smoother motor on the road vs any KTM.

The guy who drives the Team Red Bull KTM truck lives in my town, I see the rig parked in town often. Still wicked to see every time it´s there. Sometimes He has Marv and Coopś bikes out of it He use to drive the Monster Kawasaki rig and he´d have RVś bike out there. Just mentioning it because I know the feeling of surprise when you come across a Team Rig unexpectedly.
