ML512 Liked a reply to forum topic Team U.S.A. won't be announced at Unadilla

It was scheduled to be announced at Unadilla when it was between Barcia and Craig. Now they've decided to push the final selection off so they can evaluate Cooper's riding the next race or two. The team could be announced at Budds Creek...but I think it's very likely that it's announced at Ironman.

Full Interview can be Found Here: https://www.vitalmx.com/videos/features/What-is-the-SuperMotocross-Worl… Processing out the interview we just wrapped up with Dave Prater (Feld) and Carrie-Jo (MX Sports), here are some cliff notes until I'm finished with it. 1. The $10 million purse will be spread across all three entities. A portion is going to rasing the purse at SX, a portion to the National purse, and a big chunk is towards the SuperMotocross World Championship at the end. The final split hasn't been decided but it sounds like it'll be wrapped up by October. 2. Where did the money come from? We were told...

1. If you invite me on the show, I won't be a "yes, sir" guy, sit down and bite my tongue for 5 hours. 2. I will give my take on topics no matter what. I don't have any ties to anyone in the industry so I have the privilege to say things as I see them. I'm completely ok if you don't have the same views as I do 3. I'm not on the market to buy any BS anyone is selling 4. Some people will like what I say and some will say I'm a dick. It goes...

Five Fifty Eight Added a reply to Help Planning FL MX Trip

Following...Making a trip to FL as well and heard that Sandlot only runs open practice with no separate skill level/bike size sessions so it can be pretty sketchy. Making me reconsider it as a moto destination.

Working with my cousin who is a dealer for some different companies to drop ship some stuff to him. I'll let you know details when I know what he comes up with. (For the record I've been on this site for years just to keep up with what's going on; been involved with the sport for 40 years. I just finally setup a new account in 2019 hah. This awesome gesture from Hammer popped my posting cherry, and I'm glad to do it in a drama free positive thread!).

Thank you! The neighborhood parents call me the Pied Piper of Motorcycles. I've taught a number of local kids to ride. I have access to a private track and some bikes/gear and I try to pass on my addiction to as many as I can. As we all know, riding and racing moto takes commitment, effort, discipline, focus, fitness, and more. I try to expose them to this, as well as the mechanical side of maintenance and repair. One of my neighbor's boys, 14 also, started racing this year. On Saturday he hole shot, and went on to win the...

Guys, I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. I ask for a little help, and I wake up with $250 in my pay pal account and guys all over reaching out to help a kid they don't even know. Thank you. I'm overwhelmed. I'll get in touch with his Grandpa today and make sure he knows to expect some things to show up. I, too, have witnessed how the moto community treats its members. I've not yet been to a track where I don't run into someone that I can relate to - that core love of moto generates...

Thanks Slipdog, Sparker245, and Mag23. Good on ya! This kid's had a tough go - his Mom committed suicide when he was 10 and his Dad's not really in his life. He's living with his grandparents now since they are the only stable people he has. If anyone else wants to kick in some $$$, I'm happy to collect and have Slipdog go through the bike and make sure it's safe and reliable for the boy. Give him a Christmas to remember thanks to Vital MX. There's a lot of good people on here. PayPal me at mike@hamershock.net. Every dime...

I know a kid lives out near Placerville. He's been my boy's best friend since they were 5. Mayson is 14 and just got a well-used CRF150r. They don't have a ton of $$$. Anyone in the Sac area want to help me give his suspension a rebuild? Both ends need seals, oil, probably bushings. I'll pay for the parts. Hammer 663s

Took my wife and kids for a trail ride today. I’m sure all the dads on here know how good if feels to see the kids riding. This was the first time I took my 2 year old, we put some gear on him boots, helmet and googles. So we set off for our ride but to my surprise by our first stop 15-20 minutes in I found my son like this Smile ( took his googles off for the photo ) Rode so careful and slow he slept like that for 20 or 30 minutes, cutest thing...

I am the Parts Manager at a Ford/Lincoln dealer, that sells over $14,000,000.00 per year in parts. Here is the truth about parts and parts sales. Number 1, you have to have sales history to be able to stock the correct inventory. If nobody is buying it you shouldn’t be stocking it. that being said you must log any lost sales to build adequate history. If someone asks for a part and you don’t stock it, you log a lost sale. That starts the process. You get enough hits, the part gets stocked. 2. Holding inventory is very expensive, we...
