Absolutely love the Maxima ready to use filters. Highly recommend them! I will never clean another air filter if I can help it. I have used 50+ filters on the last three bikes and have never seen any amount of dirt or sand get by. I ride mostly sandy terrain and have had some super caked filters but are always perfectly clean inside and no indication of dirt or sand starting to penetrate the inner layer. Take the kids to Eric Sorbys new track in Brookesville FL. It is a very well built facility, he has a main track that is for vets and kids. He breaks it down to 15 min sessions alternating between vets and little bikes. Also has a separate peewee track and a Stacyc track.
