I have their mtb shorts and jerseys and they fit perfect. Just have to size up since everything runs small. Just picked up so moto gear and it’s comfortable and free moving. My new O’Neal stuff fits weird and hinders my movement in my legs.

I bet 20% of track riders here in PNW wear it.

I've been riding with FH gear for the past couple of years. Going to Alps this season tho.

Fasthouse seems to be aimed at posers.

There pit presence lasts longer than their riding. Gotta have all their shit out on display in their pits/vans/trailers. Have it all neatly lined up etc.

And that is something that you only see guys wearing Fasthouse doing?

My buddy that turned me onto the gear a few years ago qualified for 20+ Nationals back in the day, not exactly what I'd call a poser....probably faster now that he's 40 than you've ever been in your whole life Tongue

I'm a big fan of the Fasthouse brand. I like the story about how the Fasthouse name was conceived and how it pays tribute to Indian Dunes, since I raced there as a kid. Some of their gear says "since 68", I was born in 1968. I also like how a lot of their gear is able to be mixed. Too many companies have a jersey that only works with one pair of pants. I've also received great service from the company when I've ordered directly from them.

I'm a fan for all those reasons as well, I also like that they have this kind of attitude that was found in the description of one of the pants they sell "Fit, function, simplicity. This pant skips all the over-engineered razzle-dazzle of today's current batch of riding pants and goes straight to the tried and true features that have been time-proven and we know works. With that as the core focus of everything Fasthouse produces, our first entry into the pant market is a workhorse."

I see where they're going with the brand. Not my style, but more power to them. Something about Fasthouse reminds me of the SMP and LBZ '90s baggy pants trend.

I still love you.

I just couldn't resist given that what you described is pretty much 75% of the people at any given moto track at any given time.  If you want to avoid that shit, start going to off road races. LOL

I see what you are saying, but I’d say more along the lines of FMF rather than SMP/LBZ. I see people wearing Fasthouse casual wear that don’t ride or even watch anything moto related and that ranges from 6 year old kids up to 60 year old men.

I have 2 sets that I got in 2019/2020 and the stuff has held up well. Only issues I’ve had is with gloves. Both my pops and I tend to go through them pretty quick, but that has a bit to do with them only going up to a XXL glove. Jerseys and pants have zero issues. I agree with moto67e on the interchangeability, it’s a small but really nice feature.

I don't think it's actually this.  I think it's because they are a local brand with a deep history in southern ca.  Kenny who owns it, has put on A Day In The Dirt for over 20 years (used to be with Troy Lee also).  Like Seven, this gear started out of the TLD shop, so quality didn't suffer with growing pains.  As TLD was purchased a lot of the old riders / customers went to Fasthouse.  Ultimately you can run into these guys locally and they are as cool as the brand, no rockstars over there, good vibes, good guys and great beer!

Everyone should make a visit to their new place up in Santa Clarita. Their old shop was cool and all, but the new one is next level and there is always an 805 on hand for your touring refreshments.

I know Kenny and Jason over there and like them. I’ve known Jason since I was like 4 or 5. Like I said, Fasthouse didn’t go for that crowd, but the SoCal flipped up bill bro crowd definitely adopted it on their own, with no push from Fasthouse. That’s definitely not who they targeted when they started the brand and I’d argue that’s still not their target.

I do agree that it probably has a lot to do with being a local SoCal company.

Buy two sets of Fasthouse gear and get a set of Pit Vipers free!

They seem to go hand in hand, don't forget the weak mullet and a mustache...

I really like their stuff, some of the best looking gear out there in my opinion.  Mostly simple designs and can mix and match. Bought a set to try out a couple years ago, pretty much all I use any more. I like their short sleeve mtb jerseys I’ll wear on hang out rides when I’m not in full racer boi kit. If they made xc or roadie gear I’d be all over it.

What I see mostly is older guys, 40 plus and kids wearing it. Yes, there are a few of the Beremen, Twitch, Golden wannabes but mostly it seems older guys in it for the nostalgic, simplistic, dirt bikes, beer and fun crowd.  You know, Day In the Dirt vibes, how ironic, not really.  Kenny found the niche, went all in and is now sitting on a mountain of money as long as he can keep it “real” and keep current product quality I am a customer.

I bought my first Fasthouse kit last year (Grindhouse), and it is certainly on par with the Shift Black Label (premium version before the Blue Label came out) I have been running quality wise. Fitment wise, it isn't even comparable. Fasthouse kits fit like a glove, the pants are awesome, the Shift pants either run loose on the waist or tight on my lower legs, so I don't really like them. Next time I will go with the FH Speed Style pants, that supposedly offer greater mobility due to the 4-way stretch material they use. Additionally, their designs are badass.

You mean like this? Found this on a Euro site 3 years ago. Can barely get it on me..it's a size XL and I only weigh 160. A super Athletic fit!

Fasthouse has fully gone to the mall, but I’ve kept coming back after roughly 7 years of buying their gear. 2 big thing stand out to me:

First, the logos aren’t iron on or heat transferred, they’re silk screened. This looks like iron on but is almost like a glue/paint that holds up really well.

Secondly, the fabric is through-dyed as opposed to sublimated like most gear out now. You can tell the graphics are sublimated on most gear by looking at the back of the fabric. If you have a design on one side and white fabric on the other, the design was sublimated into the gear and is going to fade from UV exposure. Fasthouse uses fully dyed fabrics that resist fading and hold up well in crashes.

both of those features make for the most durable and colorfast gear I’ve owned.

Their shit is tough. I’m finally burning through my first pair of the Speed and Style pants after just over 2 years of constant MX and off-road use. I’m really impressed with how well they held up, I opted for the more basic Grindhouse pant this time because I’m just not a fan of the stretch fit/4 way stretch gear and I can tell these things will last even longer. The few times I’ve ever had problems ordering direct through them I’ve always got right to a real person on the phone which is refreshing. Big fans of them for putting on Day in the dirt down south too.

I wore TLD GP before I bought Fasthouse. Fasthouse stuff is pretty similar to my 2015-2016 era of TLD as far as construction. Not the lightest, stretchiest, or anything like that but tough as nails.

I just switched to Fasthouse from Fly. Bought 2 sets of gear and wore one for the first time sunday at a race. Absolutely loved the fit and feel of it and they kill it with the ID kit on the back so I'm digging it so far. I'm usually pretty hard on gear so we will see how the longevity is. Racing harescrables I get lots of rips and tears in jerseys and anything other than top of the line pants develop holes quickly.
