And it has a clutch, aluminum frame, KYB forks, quick change battery. Hope this one goes well cause it has all the right pieces to be great.

I think Ebikes are a bunch of BS...BUT I like this one more than the Tony Stark. At least this one has a clutch and KYB suspension. Still needs a transmission in my eyes. Because you lose all your torque on these when you are at high speed. Whereas, if you had a transmission you'd have more torque at higher speeds.

I don't hate the E-bikes , as I just prefer a gas guzzler on the tracks. I'm actually really interested in a nice E-mountain bike. But I feel the same way about this Flux bike here. It looks very cool , has some great parts ....I'd like to see them do well. Any idea for a release date and suggested retail price? I'd like to know the weight of this thing too.

"With 553lb-ft of torque on offer (from zero revs obvs’), the Flux Primo has more grunt than a Tesla Model 3 (302lb-ft)"

Projected price is $12,750.00 for the production model with plans for euro sales only. This is the prototype bike, the production model doesn't exist in any form yet.

So, won't be available for years.

For a long time, I was on the "electric bikes don't need a clutch" bandwagon. I still am, but I'm thinking about jumping off. I think it may be that our engrained habits as riders might make the left-hand release of power more natural than throttle control for many riders. I'd like to ride both possibilities, just to see.

OOoooh! Can we at least buy a mock up?

I mean we can buy Sasquatch statues, so why not.

If only we had motorcycles to ride in the dirt already.  Damn, wouldn't that be awesome.

Especially ones that you could ride all day and refill in a couple of minutes with something readily available, portable, and universal with proven technology.Whistling

A CRF always looks good.

Even with an electric engine.

The clutch is a really big tool that lots of us use when riding.  There are so many clutch related techniques that I didn’t realize that so many just don’t want a clutch.

Lots of the benefits of a clutch evaporate with an electric motor - certainly all the ones relating to building engine RPM. However, most of us use the clutch together with the throttle as "throttle control."

That’s why the electric trials bikes I’ve seen all have a clutch?  You aren’t riding as well as you could if you don’t use (or don’t have) a clutch.  2-stroke 4-stroke or Battery Powered.  Like saying Battery Powered eliminates the need for brakes (just dial up that engine braking).

If that is real, it's the best looking ebike so far by a wide margin. The plastics and the motor casing on the Stark make it look cheap.

Their deposits are fully refundable and I like this:

"The electric vehicle market is full of ridiculous range claims that don’t come anywhere close to reality. We respect you as a customer and don’t want to do that. We will get real power consumption data by testing with you. That way, when we release our production motorcycle, you know the ranges are based on real user experience, not marketing hype."

But I know nothing else about the company and if they are legit or not.
