I have found solid rotors help too, however it is not a sure fix. I've eaten threw brand new pads even with the solid rotors but in the nastiest conditions.

First I've heard anything about them is this year, and haven't tried them yet. They seem to have competitive models to all the other big names. Leads me to believe they are probably at least OK since they aren't only making $200 base model boots. Also I think they are a sponsor for the Jday series this year.
