TCX Comp ???

Anyone tried them ?

My only interest in them is that they offer an all red boot.

First I've heard anything about them is this year, and haven't tried them yet. They seem to have competitive models to all the other big names. Leads me to believe they are probably at least OK since they aren't only making $200 base model boots.

Also I think they are a sponsor for the Jday series this year.

Just got the turqoise colored ones last week. Wore them yesterday for the first time. They are very comfortable. Remind me a lot of my Gaerne SG12's I had a couple years back. Time will tell if the soles hold up. I have been known to tear soles up very quickly.

I don't have any kind of discount. Bought them off of Rocky mountain for $569. That being said, I tried them on at iron pony first along with about any other high end boot they had. TCX was the most comfortable to me so I took a chance.

The best I can say is that a couple of my buds bought and loved them. That's all I got. I'm a fan of 661 but I'd guess the TCX has better ankle support. Since the TCX is similar to the Gaerne ( ankle pivot) I'd look up consumer reviews for comfort and durability.

Just a friendly warning.. The boot is pretty narrow if you have a wider than average foot.
