If Deegan was successful in taking out Shimoda, he would have tried to then take out Hammaker for the title. There is no good outcome for the sport otherwise, unless Deegan isn't successful at takeouts and hurts himself first. He would be champion if he was successful at both takeouts.

I also race Vet Fest every year. Standard 4 laps, two moto format. Fast guys get 5 laps. Awesome turn out and a great time. Just a bunch of people who want to have a great time and spin some laps. Much more laid back then a normal race weekend. I believe in the past they dont let you arrive until Friday but I could be wrong on that. I race it every year, the turnout is getting crazy with full gates with sometimes qualifiers. I'd recommend coming on Friday and doing the practice to get the track down. If you're a late moto, you WON'T BELIEVE how rough the track is. Good luck, have fun

James just has a much smoother delivery. He and RC both say some goofy things at times but James just lets it flow where RC misses a shift or two with his speech pattern

Motoland is now owned by the same guy that runs wildcat creek in Rossville, IN. I heard that racing may be coming to the track, rather than just open practice days. I'm not sure where or who I heard that from, but I'm all for it. It is easily one of the best facilities in the area.

Finally someone remembers why there was even a consideration of the 4-stroke move. The government was making moves to outlaw 2-strokes for environmental concerns with their emissions. The manufacturers were being told that regulations were coming that they were going to need to comply with. I really think if the move wasn’t made that the government would’ve continued down that path. They backed off some once they saw how proactive the bike makers were. They’re still at it.
