It is ironic that people say 4 strokes cost too much to race for kids. Meanwhile, 50cc 2 STROKE kid's race bikes cost $4K and are extremely expensive to maintain. Remember, 50s are the entry level and you must have a 2 stroke to be competitive.

I have seen "vertically challenged" adults racing Honda big wheel CRF150R's in age based classes. These suckers are not slow. I think the major surviving pitbike manufacturers actually make a decent quality bike now.
