Does anyone out there have any recent news about those Nike boots? Are thet talking about putting them in stores in the future?...or are they making boots just for James Stewart and Ryan Dungey?

Last I had read on here...it took eight people one week to make a pair of those boots ( via GuyB ).
Prolly would cost a few grand if not more...for a pair.

Even if they went into mass production...prolly would cost you 500+ a pair.

My advice,stick with Alpine Stars. Wink

I went to high point and had pit pass and after moto 1 i was at dungeys trailer and he gave me his pair and they are too small and i got the signed after moto 2

I had a meeting with Nikes technology development people about 5 months ago and asked about the boots. They said its a one off program for Dunge and Stew with zero plans right now of making them into a commercial product.

Its a marketing thing to increase brand awareness of the Nike 6.0 line.

If you buy shoes to say "look what I got' Nike is the shoe for you. If you buy shoes because you want them to last...not for you. I would think any boot they make would be no different.
