Same here, I like to have same/similar bars on all bikes. I like low & rolled back bars so mine are probably a little extreme. Kinda like jeremy martin style haha

Yes. I only use 7/8". I can only use this for the control length. I run my levers mounted in. Not just in from the end of the bars. Never an issue.

WOW! Thanks for the picture! Not to hijack. I always run the same bar on every bike, with a cross bar. The bar is rotated forward till the cross bar hits the t-handle on the forward bolt. This was to be the neutral position. I only used the marks to center the bars. Looking at your picture 0 would be...

If your old bearings are in good condition, I would just replace the rubber roller. That is Funny! I just looked up the 21 450/250 and they went back to the 2 bearing system. That was the issue for the wear on the 19, single bearing.

This Summer I made the switch to Bell Helmets. Went back after a number of years. The fit is perfect. Great air flow in the Summer, hot weather riding. Has the advanced safety features, which riders are looking for in a helmet. Luckily have not had to test. Great option!

Concussions are like other injuries, too many variables. You, your genetics/angle/time/load/etc. Proper fit is one of the only things you can control. Safety/ Design features. Good Luck!

I have an 04. Not sure why you would want to change the suspension, unless yours is not serviceable. I sent mine to Pro Circuit and the ride is amazing. It was designed around this setup. I am also amazed that today's bikes are setup for beginners. Motocross Action tested the 04 KX and said the setup was stiff and...
Preload is an important part of the function of the suspension. You need to check the manual and find the correct range of preload. Most just turn the spring to the desired sag number, but never measured to see if this is in the specific range.

Sunstar sprockets DID ERT3 chain. High quality, light, and last the right amount of time Rear chain guard.....I use TM Designworks. They are loud due to the plastic being so hard but last. Chain buffer and roller......TM. Very clunky but must change for durability I want my chain and sprockets to wear out In unison. When the standard aluminum sprocket is worn.....time for a new chain too. I get around 25-35 hours on a drive system and replace everything in a preventative manner.

With the KX 450F there are some initial must have mods. I will answer your question first. Chain and sprockets. I run Sunstar MXR1 Works chains. Amazing on the performance end, but equally on the durability side. Basic clean and lube, and this chain lasts for hours. Sprockets, I use the Works sprocket, 50 T, same amazing results as the...
