I just went through this one last year. It has some CZ World Championship history from back in the early 80's.

Just amazing bikes, we have a blast on them at Unadilia Rewind, had to build my own

This bike came from Belgium - I traded a bunch of CZ motors to Rik Ballet for this bike. I'm not sure if the blue tank was a factory color - however it was a great color on this bike. Picture was taken at Woodland WA.

I was invited to a DAS Motard picture shoot in 1975. Thats me on the bike An awesome experiecne racing in Germany!!!!

Sold them as a lot to buyer on the East Coast.....price was acceptable I considered piece meal but my guess was several years to liquidate and then the $$$ dribble in and dribbles out. The lot sale allowed me to do something productive..... Sorry to see them go and also relieved…..had some real sweet Maico’s, Bultaco’s, Montesa’s, Pentons, Husky, ………………

Wow Tim What a collection! Impressive twin pipe 250 to say the least...Was that your highest sell? i often wondered why CZ went away from that peanut tank to the yellow and then coffin tank design, Seemed like they took steps backwards. They certainly were the shit from the mid 60's for a strong full decade.

It was cool and fast at the time.

I raced a 250 CZ in the 70’s when I was a kid in Oklahoma. I think I bought it when I was a Jr. in high school, 1973. Mechanic at a Suzuki shop I raced out of before I had the CZ gave me a Mikuni carb off a factory 250 Suzuki road race bike along with a had full of jets and said get an adapter, file a couple of millimeters off the back side of the piston, polish the ports and go racing kid. I remember him saying I can’t blame you for getting off that Suzuki...

And it's as cool a thread today as it was back then.
