McGrath left Honda in 97. TwentyTwo years ago. I remember when if you were not riding a Bultaco, a Maico, CZ or Husky, you were not going to do well. But this isn't 45 years ago. Any more than this is 22 years ago. The Japanese have amazing resources and engineering available. But they're not using those resources building dirt bikes. KTM is.

I remember when MXGEOFF posted a thread here about 5 years ago claiming KTM would soon begin to dominate US SX and MX and would eventually establish themselves as the next 80's era Team Honda. Of course, his sanity was called into question and a Vitard beatdown of epic proportion quickly ensued. As much as I still think MXGEOFF is a DBag, he got that one right.
