7/22/2026 8:01pm Sounds like he had a kid with him and took something not worth a lot of money from a shed or something. To me, this screams that there is way more to this story, so I encourage everyone to hold off on judging Mike until more details are released.

7/19/2026 7:27pm There's no way a professional motocross rider crashed because of those drops. I take bigger drops on my 4" travel XC mtb and that's not a brag lol. I do recall someone cartwheeling a golf cart, though.

7/6/2026 5:03pm I've had the motoklik for a couple years and it has not served useful for me. It's interesting, it has potential, but at the end of the day i've got nothing to show for it besides answering some questions for myself on the practical utility of such equipment, which ties to Billy's comments about you only get as good of answers as the questions you ask. Unfortunately I just never felt like I had consistent enough functionality to get to that point of asking good questions. The first major hurdle was lack of component/build quality. My system fell apart while...

6/29/2026 12:40pm Its funny I was talking about this the other day with a friend of mine. We were both saying how its just automatic. Jump onto a bicycle and it just feels right with them as is ( Right hand Rear). I was telling him how it was still automatic even after not riding a motocross bike for years, and having been riding an EMTB for a few months almost everyday. I had the chance to try a Stark Varg when they had just come out and I didn't even have to think about the brakes being different. It had a...

6/29/2026 12:39pm I switch them to moto style on my mountain bikes and leave it regular on my road bike. The reason we put the rear brake on the right hand in the US is so you can use your left hand to signal turns or stops while using you right hand to brake with the rear safely.

6/29/2026 12:38pm I never switch them. To me, the rear brake should be on the right side, whether it’s at my feet or my hands. I did ride my buddies stark once and he had the rear brake on the left handlebar. I could not get used of that!

6/29/2026 12:38pm I ride both pretty frequently...and I've never switched the brakes...I go into dirt bike mode or MTB mode mentally and its never an issue...I did get confused once sitting on a surron...it was like my brain couldn't decide if I was on a bicycle or a dirt bike...took a minute to get that straightened out... Never had an issue with it...which honestly surprises me.

6/29/2026 12:37pm We recently went downhill MTB riding at Whistler, and the bike rental shop asked if we wanted a regular or moto-style brake setup when renting our bikes, so it's definitely a thing. Whistler was epic by the way.

6/28/2026 8:17pm No, I have my bike brakes setup per the bike standard (rear brake on the right side; front brake on the left side). I can jump back and forth with no issue. Ride both for long enough and your muscle memory will take over. I tried a rear hand brake on my moto and could not get used to it...
