Yeah that’s exactly what I was going to say, the only time we see them is when they are getting lapped and trying to stay out of the way. Guys can’t win, go fast and get in the leaders way or stay out of the way and look slow.

Probably has to be due to getting the blue flag and trying not to get in the leaders way. Only time you see em is when they get lapped on tv, but I would bet there hitting the jumps like normal unless there having bike issues or wadded up a lap or so ago.

Yep, and that’s what most people don’t understand. The reason they are able to sell OEM parts is because they own regular brick and mortar dealerships. Without those the manufactures wouldn’t sell them OEM parts.

State laws won’t allow bikes to not go through and be setup by dealers. The manufactures also require it. Sure some dealers sell bikes in a crate, but those dealers are breaking the terms of their contract with the manufacture. That’s a risk I won’t take. As far as having a bike built just for you, that’s already being done...

I 100% agree that it should be equal displacement and the manufactures shouldn’t at all be worried about it. Look at the 250 pro classes at off-road races like GNCC & WORCS, they can run whichever. Logic would tell me (older guy who raced 2t’s) that the two strokes would be faster. However the races are almost all 250 four...

One would assume so since they run amateur rules and don’t have to be homologated/production bikes A TM has been racing them and it’s not legal in the pro class

Also have to keep in mind that they basically built his race bike using the newer frame that had slightly different geometry than the older frame. It’s not like it was a completely different bike that had huge changes for 08. Nobody looking at the bike could see the difference.

I bought a new left over 2018 in July 2019. Extended dually high roof with Eco-boost for 40k. 87,000 on it now and seems I could probably sell it for about that! Really glad I found it when I did! Been a really good van👍

Like others said Oakland isn’t even close to the other races in CA.,, If it where back East the distance would put in a state or two away. When I lived up North it was a little over an hour away from Oakland. The fact that Oakland or the stadium sucks really makes no difference in going to the race...

When Alta was racing Endurocross they had a nice loud generator running for a couple hours behind their vans, Unfortunately that put them in the front of our PITS! After a couple hours I pushed it around to their pits and said it was time for them to listen to it. Amazingly it was turned off pretty quick😂

They’ve been doing something similar in Endurocross for a while now, it’s extremely exciting and sometimes you get to see riders try things and take lines that just wouldn’t work in a race scenario. My suggestion would be this: - Top 10 450 riders that transferred from the heats get to participate - 1-3 championship points are on the line, something in that range - Run it right after the LCQs, before the 250 main. Seems woman racers get a lot more out of racing off-road these days. GNCC, Worcs, Endurocross, Hare & Hound, Extreme Enduro and National Enduro all have woman Pro class (or equivalent championships) with riders getting support. They are some of the best in the world as proven at the ISDE with our US Woman’s team taking the win.
