10/26/2018 6:12am Cairoli will never beat Herlings straight up anymore. Only a (big) error by Herlings could hand him the title next year, but then he still has to beat Gajser too. We all saw how good Tim was at the end of the season. No, Tony has had a great career but I don't see him getting another title.

10/25/2018 6:45am I think they are in pretty good direction. Like Riocciardo, he earns about 6 million a year at Red Bull. Pretty good money for somebody who never won a championship and probably never will. Chad had some real good seasons, with super sponsor deals. If he invested it in real estate than I think he's good for 25-40 million.

I say bravo. It's not often now a days you see a young man pinch and save every euro to save up enough for a large purchase. Dude even saved some bucks by not buying new clothes and wearing his sisters old holy jeans instead.

They did it with Herlings and later with Pootjes, Mewse, Jonass and Prado and just now they signed Dutch kid Kay de Wolf for 5 years (at Husky) Sometimes it works (Herlings & Prado) and sometimes it doesn't (Pootjes & Mewse). Problem with all these...

It's very peculiar to suggest that a world champion needs to win titles in a particular nation to prove himself. It takes a special kind of hubris to make such a suggestion.

10/19/2018 1:34am Herlings is an outdoor racer, he is the FMOTP in MX. He is no SX rider and never will be. Tomac is a SX rider but has no title and has been beaten by Herlings more than once in MX too. So Tomac has everything to prove, Herlings doesn't.

Tomac HASNT proved himself as a SX champion. Nor has he proved himself in the fastest MOTOCROSS series in the world. Herlings CAN claim himself as the fastest MOTOCROSS rider on the planet.
