District 8 completely fell apart midway through the 1982 season. I remember agroup of parents/officials tried to get their own organization off the ground called FMC (florida motocross club). I remember those YZ 175's from 1976. I had a 1976 YZ 125 X. There were no 1977 YZ 175's but....... There were IT 175's. Back in the day at Dade City, when Randy Yoho was a racer and not the owner. He raced a 1977 YZ 125 with an IT 175 top end. There was a 0-200cc pro class...

Third vote here for Florida's "King" Kenny. What a day . Myself and the McElroys , Bob and Brian were on the very back straight with our big cardboard sign that said BROC WHO ? Kenny wheelied by and gave us a thumbs up as he went by.

Chicken Farm was definitly my favorite MX track I ever rode. Also rode my one and only FTR Hare Scrambles race there. Anything before that freestyle stuff. Don't get me wrong, those guys have alot of talent but...... most of them probably couldn't compete with actual racers on a track. Before someone corrects me about Travis Pastrana, I did say most.
