Haven’t done much, planned a trip to Budds creek for me and my girl to hangout with some friends and watch the race so was trying to save some money for that. Rearranged my work area to accommodate some room to work on all 3 bikes at once a little easier. My 125 on the left is my only “running” bike for now so it’s just on a basic moto stand and I can get it in and out of the garage pretty easily. My other 125 is framed on that scissor lift and has been the biggest heartbreaker to...

I actually started working and wet sanding my CRF250 tank because I saw this forum and what you did for your tank. I did half of it and got it looking decent but then my buddy told me about these ceramic wipes that he uses on his jeep plastic. He said they last a long time so I ordered some from amazon and tried them and this is the result. So far, even days after applying the wipes it still looks shiny like the picture and doesn't wipe off. Haven't got the bike back together to see if it will...

Yeah Yamaha. Way to berate and intimidate a KID. Amateur racing in the US....Kinda looks like it's WAY outta control and needs a makeover. KICK OUT THE FACTORIES

Wow, definitely lost a lot of respect for the Deegans and Star/Yamaha hearing this. To threaten his sponsor and such also? AMA needs to step up and put Yamaha in line or remove the rule. Maybe us speaking with our wallets and not buying new blue for a while will get the point across.

Sounds like Tim Cotter and MX Sports (by proxy) over stepped some boundaries here as well. Not a good look

Until now I assumed the motor was legal. Now I have to wonder. Why was Brian concerned about being defamed? Why so concerned about an engine builder seeing the engine? How could claiming the bike defame the Deegans more than their behavior has unless the bike was found to be illegal? The intimidation by both Brian and Haden will forever take them down in my eyes. Yamaha's behavior was reprehensible. Makes me embarrassed to ride blue. I hope they come clean, some heads roll and they make it right.

You’re a straight idiot lol. There’s a reason why you have the same amount of down votes as there are comments

This is a black eye for all involved. And freaking Matt Walker running interference and stirring the pot. You don’t have a dog in this fight. Screw off, guy.

Bad look for Yamaha and Donnie Luce. If you don’t want a kid to claim the bike then don’t build a bike that’s worth more than the claiming rule amounts. It’s AMATEUR racing. Not pro racing for amateurs. The motors and suspension shouldn’t be the focus. Focus should be on the riders to develop and get better not to go Big Bore Brian on everyone and build the fastest engines. Sounds like it’s time for a stock engine rule like they have in karting.

I bleed blue, but I don't agree with having anyone with a factory team contract and a factory bike to ride as an amateur in any AMA championship event, especially in a B/C class. The rule is there to try to keep everyone on the same level of equipment. You want to bring a factory bike to an event like that then you better be prepared for the possibility of losing it. And the promotor of the event should have had absolutely nothing to do with the claim. It was an AMA issue and should have ONLY been delt with...

it sounds to me like Tim Cotter should be fired from MX SPORTS Donnie Luce from Yamaha and Brian Deegan and Matt Walker should be suspended from all ama sanctioned races for a year ....The kid should have been given the motorcycle at the time of the claim being paid period .He claimed the bike after the last moto of his ;class and didnt have to let anything go to impound...He didnt have to agree to let Deegan race it the next day ..his class was over he pays he gets bike ..I remember reading several rules that say detrimental...
