1/11/2023 10:56am Not sure about Injury pay. I have noticed his merch sales and clothing company seem to expand everytime he gets hurt. Seems like he is spending his off time building that business maybe to help pay his bills. It is a interesting subject that has very few reliable sources besides riders themselves.

UPS lost one of Vital's Contest Dream Bike's engines... It was found and re-lost like three times over the course of six months. Ultimately, it was never returned to us...the insurance was a nightmare to deal with...and we ended up having to buy a crate engine to finish the bike. Screw UPS...the amount of nightmares they gave me with my team was nearly unbearable. We gave up on shipping suspension and flew with it 95% of the time. If I could've flown with engines, I would've done that too. FedEX was better. Not perfect...but I had much better luck for...

As of a couple years ago, could be more now. $5000 insured value was the starting number for UPS where the driver has to hand off the package to a supervisor at the hub, and all the way down the line to delivery. That package never landed on a conveyor belt. If that package was lost all eyes were on the person that touched it last.

When I ship to a customer, I put an AirTag tracker in the box. I include a pre-paid self addressed envelope for them to send it back.

It's all stragedy to give him exposure to the series while still allowing him to train for 250 Pro Motocross where he is a real contender for the championship this year. Jett will be doing 450 Pro Motocross at that point. Austin Forkner will probably be hurt by then. His only competition will be Hunter Lawerence and Jo Shimoda for the championship.

As listed above, the team wants him to focus on the 250 title for the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. A full 450 season in Supercross, especially as a rookie, raises his chances to pick up an injury.
