True, but if it does, it’s often in February. Can’t count the number of times I’ve thought we made it through winter and better weather was coming, only to get blasted by snow and ice in February. I’m with Sandberm, I miss the Kingdome.

As someone who grew up with this in their family, i can tell you the mental side of it is worse than any of the physical side of it. When you wake up every day feeling like someone you arent, it takes its toll.

I don’t think it’s the best way to handle a departure. If I’m changing jobs, I try to tie up any loose ends that I can, leave notes in files with outstanding issues, and be civil and cordial on the way out. I’ve left a job that I since returned to. I couldn’t have done that if I hadn’t left on good terms. Burning bridges is generally a bad idea. But it’s more than Just that for me. It’s a matter of basic respect. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but unless I’ve been seriously mistreated I feel the employer is owed...
