AP new gear deal?

Wouldn’t surprise me, Thor has been asleep at the wheel for a decade

That tracks since Matthes said O'Neal just turned Benny down for a gear deal.

The last time I remember enjoying Thor gear was Chad Reed in the early 2000s.  So many brands have leveled up and they never quite did…

Thor needs a new design team ASAP. 

To Thor's credit though,  they do post here and seem receptive to opinions-conversation.

I remember Thor used the blue sleeves for Dylan Ferrandis’s gear for what seemed like the whole time he was on Yamaha he actually rides for O’Neal now too come to think of it

Thor needs to bring back that late 90's 454 big block gear with modern materials. To me that was their peak and started to taper off in the 2000's before nose diving in the mid-late 2000's after Reeds stuff. 

Yup, he's a nice guy. Dont be cruel guys lol. But to be honest, I cant remember one cool kit Deegan has rocked. He's Fox next year, isnt he?

Anyone else think that Oneal kit looks very similar to the thor kit AP seemed to live in a couple years ago? lol.

Hopefully Fox steps it up with Deegan wearing it. Because nothing they've put out recently is any good either. Its really lost popularity on local tracks, too. I never see anyone wearing Fox

I’ve thought that fox has some of the best looking gear. I can’t wait to see what they can do for haiden as well. I liked some of the gear they did for prado.

We’ve got something pretty big cooking with AP for next season, more into the outdoors 😉

Thor was always my go to for my kids as it was durable, attractively priced, and I liked the legacy. I still think the lineage to Torsten is underplayed. For those unaware, not only was he a multi time world champion, he was fundamental in introducing Motocross to the United States.

Why is his son in O’Neal ? You’d think you’d want to give the little guy some Thor gear ? 

AP just screams Fly to me. It’s hard to picture him wearing anything else. 

I see a lot of fast kids at the track and races wearing Thor. A lot of old guys on here hate on it, but a lot of people love it.

2004 Thor Core was some of the best looking gear of all time IMO.

Thir from about 02-the end of Reed was great. 

They red did a set of old Thor core gear McGrath wore with was my first free set of gear ever and unfortunately the remake didnt fit and feel as good as the old core gear. Still looked good though.

You didn't like Marv and Webb looking the same for like 3-4 years?

They did some cool custom kits with Deegan though this year

It's not my place to speak on the Plessinger's behalf, but I can say that his kiddo does have THOR gear, but really liked this O'Neal set and insisted on it. Can't stifle a kid's joy! Hahah

Yeah apologies for that - the Pulse chassis from a few years ago was not our best work. Half the riders love it (still seeing on tracks to this day) and the other half of us (myself included) just couldn't wear that pant. We tried too hard to make it anatomical and didn't succeed, so the new Launchmode, Pulse's replacement, was completely fresh from the ground up.
