There’s an age rule too. I think it is 21 max age to race Emx 250. SMX in America is based on an invite only. That’s why you don’t see the full gates. I’ve heard of very good riders not getting in. Just denied & ignored. EMX is open to anybody. Show up & qualify. Also, it is like a 10 round series. Where SMX is not a series. 1 race championship

Here are some pictures of the motor rebuild. Fully vapor blasted all cases, replaced all bearings, all new gaskets and seal, new Hot Rods crank, new clutch fibers and plates as well as clutch hub and basket, cerakoted inner clutch cover and power valve covers, Boyesen water pump cover and impeller, Boyesen clutch and stator covers, jug replated by MT, new Wiseco piston, VForce 3 reeds, new hardware.

After tearing apart the motor, I converted a Harbor Freight sand blasting cabinet into a vapor blaster. It is powered by an Ingersoll Rand compressor pushing 16 CFM @ 60 p.s.i.

Had one of these. The motor was great but those first PDS chassis were so unpredictable. Never a dull moment - especially at the end of a choppy straight..! That's a stunning example, nice job 👍

everyone who rides a Beta loves almost everything about them. It wins tons of off-road and WORCS races at the highest levels. The only negative anyone has ever said and it's pretty unanimous across test riders and even ZachO said this recently - the moto 450 engine needs more pop. Both on the race bike and production bike side. This doesn't really matter in SX. The bike has already had some solid finishes indoors and I'd expect that to continue and probably get an all time high next season with Shane joining. The Quadlock bike is good. But if Shane...

I like it.. I honestly liked the OG teal rims with the teal plastic. You gotta stand out today and when several brands run red it's hard to do that. It's why I love Kawasaki and Suzuki.. their colors pop on track. Add some red splashes here and there and it would look great on track but I'd rock it like this too
