Hope he keeps doing these. Surprised he thought Barcias pass was worse than Marvs but the king has spoken I’m not going to argue with him. update: looks like Feld had it pulled. Lame. Let the man break it down for us! I got to watch it before it was pulled, hopefully they chop it up and reupload it.

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that the entirety of this thread is bagging on Cooksey and no one cares that if a goy like AJ Catanzaro wanted to earn his living by making his videos at the outdoors he would be subject to review? I understand he doesn't race outdoors but the point is the same. We have become so comfortable with censorship that we now focus more of the person who reports on the censorship than the actual censorship.

OldPro277 Liked a forum topic Super trick XR200R racer for my daughter

5/16/2021 6:52pm
Myself , my 31 yo Daughter and Son-in-law all race Vintage X-Country and Moto. My daughter just started racing last season and has done remarkably well . So well in fact, that the AHRMA board bumped her into the Expert class, so I figured "what the hell, might as well build her an Expert type of machine" I found a decent 82 XR200R ,but the Cam bearing was bad so obviously that meant an entire frame up ,super modded , trick-out ,high performance rebuild was needed !! I wanted to trim some weight off the bike as it weighed in...

In no particular order, KTM, Rotax, Montesa VR, in my estimation the KTM and Rotax are tied stock to stock, the VR is just a sliver short of matching them but is a powerhouse for sure. common to all of them are advanced cylinder ports, they all have several extra transfer ports when compared to their contemporaries. The generation prior had CZ and Husqvarna showing the way with again, advanced cylinder ports, this was why the 250's of both brands were really the only logical choice in their time. FWIW, in the post 1975 period it was again Husqvarna showing...

Only ONE guy to take advice from on that bike -- Joe Newmann. However I will tell you that Ohlins or RaceTechs are far superior to any Works shocks. Works are cheap, and easy to find but there is a reason for that. I actually have several sets of Works on some of my bikes ,but on the 6 serious Vintage racers are exclusively Ohlins Piggybacks. All that being said, a well set-up set of Works will be much better than the stockers . Good luck, have fun, and email Joe. One last thing, If you're looking for the hard to...

Right on 10-Time Champion. I’ve always thought it a bit weird that many industry folk don’t count 250SX regional titles in a racers total title count. They are titles after all. I knew something was up when RV showed up at a local race with his kids in FOX gear. ...not to mention seeing photos of him riding in logo-less gear. Canvas is some cool stuff, hopefully this helps them grow.

Semi related- I made this set up for my Escape a couple years ago and it works FANTASTIC. (Team Green has seen it in action and can verify. Smile ) I welded some receivers to the sides of the factory class II hitch. Then those hoops just slide in when needed. The middle receiver is used as the mounting point and those load links hold the bike SOLID. When not in use, the pieces just sit out of the way in the back of the car. Nothing to stash on the side of the house or anything. Works unreal. I'm...
