starting to build my own 25 crf450rl. what a bike honestly before even doing a ecu i love it. My AIM ecu should be here today. still think the throttle tamer is needed after ecu?

Love your analogy. Absolutely correct. They claim this is the first TC based on rear wheel data. Unlike a car where each wheel has to be individually monitored, they could get rear-wheel speed simply off of crank speed and transmission position. Ducati has always had impressive electronics and I'm very curious to see how they tackle this. I've always thought it wasn't an issue of getting rear wheel speed data but rather understanding what the rest of the bike is doing so it doesn't cut power every time the rear wheel starts spinning up because it could be from loosing...
