Has a comfortable lead and is still on the edge...not smart but you gotta love this kid. Considering he was the leading MX2 that was not a smart move. Broken collarbone. This kid will kill himself on a 450 if he doesn't ride a little smarter. I'm a fan !!

It's clear the development model in Europe is better-they race, in the US amateurs go to training centres and race 4-6X per year. Europe goes through 125's into 250's into MX 2 to MXGP. They are getting gate drops, never mind racing in specific countries in their own series (UK, Netherlands, etc). They are RACING way more through their development. Garcia was impressive today.

With a lot of the stuff that was already mentioned I think a lot of what helps them is you have the top two guys riding the same bike so that's a good amount of comparison data and they ride together. That iron sharpens iron kinda thing.

Watching Hunter catch Prado with a 9 second lead in only 2 laps was pretty incredible. Both Jett and Hunter have incredible burst speed when they need it.. and when they are cruising to maintain energy they are still pulling away from the field. What about their technique allows them to be so fluid and quick on the track? It's not just the Lawrence's other European riders are incredibly fast and have been for at least the past decade. What are they doing that our homegrown riders are not? I hear how a lot of our guys ride more aggressively...

Never have switched, and don't even think about it. My brain has 2 different channels, motorcycle and bicycle. I can go back and forth all day and never get even the slightest bit confused. Don't know why but it's not even a slight issue for me. I have MTB buddies that switch them, I make a note to NEVER ride their bikes 🤪like... ever. It'd be a guaranteed crash 😄

Coenen pouring it on at the end of the race maybe due to the relatively smooth track compared to what he's used to Hopefully he'll get a much better start next time and slug it out with those guys, he seemed to really bog down after the initial dropmost are using 1st gear at this altitude, I would have thought he'd have been doing the same ,

Fuck yeah Lucas what a race. Deegan also rode well but over his head and cut the track like 17 times. Prado disappointing... If he keeps pushing and doesn't just settle for 5th because of the gap he'd have had a chance to capitalize on deegan and hunter crashing. But he just settles and gives up. Wtf bro come on
