The money came from NBC because MX Sports and Feld came together selling the whole season as a package with the creation of the ill worded playoffs by the request of NBC. It was literally new money this year because of that NBC TV deal. It’s a 5 year contract so this will continue for at least another 4 years. How many times do people have to be told this?

So Deegan runs the Team? No he doesn't. He did say he could have gone and had a basically stock bike and would have had to pay his own expenses etc. Would you do that if you were him? The comfort level of having the resources you are used to is arguably more important than showing up.

Can you link to one interview or PR from team Deegan BEFORE the race that he wants to do the race but Star will not let him go? Any PR from Star that they will not go BEFORE the race?
