I can’t remember which rider it was, but one of the road racers (in motogp I believe) got a little too excited in his finish line celebration a few years back and set his off…it was hilarious to watch him suddenly go “poof” and his suit’s chest/back swell up as he rolled through.

More hp from the 250f is the next big innovation in Mx. Following the same path from the 80s and 90s- when the smaller bikes became better than the big bore big bore went away. A 50hp stock 250f will be the highest selling bike of the year for awhile. And a weapon. 16000 rpm here we come, hopefully a very advanced vtec system so the low end isn't nil.

People critique Deegan's performance to an insane degree because they don't like him (and because he's set the standard very high for himself with is gab). However, anyone that disputes Deegan has had an extremely successful 250 career, has lived up to the hype, and is a world-class MX racer is lying to themselves. To expect him to perform any better than he's performed is giving him GOAT 250/125 2T expectations, because the only 250/125 2T riders to have succeeded to a higher degree at this age are all-timers like Villopoto, Stewart, and Carmichael.
