I've usually just laughed off Cooksey's wackier stuff because sometimes he has some pretty interesting scoops. Monday, He posted a video and basically accused Herlings of being a pedo because he dated Hunter's chick 10+ years ago and he found a website that listed her current age as 24. Then Monday he posts a video saying that Herlings is cleared because that website was wrong. I've defended the guy plenty of times but as I posted a comment on his video Efffff him. Who gives him the right to throw out a criminal accusation and then act like he's the judge and jury and clear him a day later. That was a piece of shit move.

I'm surprised that so many riders are have girlfriends or wives that were previously with another of their competitors. That would be an immediate DQ for me.
The moto media could make Cooksey go away if they did actual journalism rather than repeat press releases.

Call me crazy but I think there's a way to be tactful yet still create interesting journalism.
I wouldn't call it reporting. From time to time he serves as a mouthpiece for people that need to launder a message through him (Mirtl, LACR, etc.). The other 90% of the time he's recklessly slinging bullshit to his mouth breathing mob.
I just watched two videos he didn’t use the word pedo one time.
He has some speculation of her age doesn’t confirm it then follows up saying he did some more digging and admits his fault. But he never said anything about Herlings behind a pedo he was just questioning the site and the age posted.
Both videos 20 plus thousand views. I’m sure the people commenting on this thread will just take McG194s word for it and not watch the videos.

Are you kidding the fans love to hear about PED's. What they really want though is some proof or just some verifiable evidence other than blind speculation from someone with no credibility. I don't think I've ever heard one person deny the existence of PED's in the sport, that would be naive.

I don’t watch a whole lot of his videos, only a few that people mention to me. But I don’t need Cooksey to know about the use of PEDs in our sports.

Yup. Only thing I’ve heard that’s even close to proof was Matthes saying he saw a small bottle of HGH or something like that in a 250 riders fridge years ago. Other than that, we’ve had nothing but have heard about it forever. At this point we all know it’s a thing and just want proof of what’s being used and who is using it, but that will never happen

The problem is, you’re saying he’s 90% right but don’t personally watch his videos so why are you putting blind faith into everything he puts out? The problem with Cooksey is that he is friends with insiders and will get nuggets and/or one side of the story and then fill in the blanks with whatever he wants the narrative to be. He loses his credibility when he presents his speculation or opinions as the truth because how do you know when he’s presenting facts vs “his truth”?
