12/25/2021 5:47pm For you guys who care, it did happen. My friend and I were young teenagers and it made our year. To me it was a genuine experience with Malcolm and the legend himself. Not many people on here can say they had a laugh (may it be a dumb) with him.

10/2/2021 6:41pm Ive done both. Both can be addictive! You can get that same feeling on the line for both types of racing, its all about the competitive spirit! I was actually glad when my son started racing moto, as I had just had a 100k plus car ping pong across both lanes and hit both walls at the track... Somehow supermini's looked a lot cheaper!! Moto is expensive but ain't got crap on big time drag racing lol!!

10/1/2021 8:19am Loctite makes anaerobic retaining compounds for stuff like this, I had a similar issue with a pressed in coolant tube in a oil cooler housing on a GT500. I removed the hose barb, cleaned it and then re-installed with the sealer, Compound 620.

10/1/2021 8:01am Lots of linkage between moto and the dragstrip. Antron Brown, Brian Corradi, Robert Naber to name a few. Dick Lechien (Maxima) raced Top Fuel. KC

10/1/2021 7:56am I agree with this. I'll only go to events when I know the people racing or help out with their cars, otherwise I can take it or leave it. The grudge and no prep stuff is fun, but bracket racing and any of the super/index class cars are about as exciting as watching paint dry. I can appreciate the skill it takes to consistently dial in a throttle stop car to run 3 hundreths under the index and then consistently dump that at the finish, but I don't care to watch it from the stands that much. I do know...

9/8/2021 9:38am The point that everyone is missing Daniel Effing Blair. I swear, that guy is the Matthes Enemy Whisperer or something. Blair has soothed it between RC and Steve and now Jase and Steve. Daniel seems to be universally well liked throughout the industry. I've personally had conversations with him behind the scenes and he either is as genuine as he appears on tv or he is the best faker I've ever seen, such a humble and kind dude. I can't wait to see the pictures of Steve and Jason Anderson e-biking.

9/8/2021 9:26am At Yamaha the engineers and Team managers thought they knew what worked even though they were not the ones who race the bike they had their egos telling the riders that they are the problem and not the bike, its been going on since the 70s. Glad to see Star cram it down the Yamaha factory's throats.

8/5/2021 6:49pm My last ride was just shy of 3000 hp. The feeling at the end of a run when dual parachutes hit is pretty extreme yet comforting because you’re confident you be able to make the turn off at the end of the track.

6/10/2021 1:14pm OK guys- after 5 years of searching for parts, making parts and building this thing, its 99% done and being raced this weekend at the AHRMA National (by my daughter since I'm laid up ) I don't typically post "before" pics or 'in progress" pics since they take up too much space in a thread, but I did post some "before" pics of this one just to display what I usually start with. I ran across this 5 years ago at Mid Ohio and grabbed it for 500 (I paid too much, lol ) . It had sat in some guys...

5/27/2021 1:00pm Not junk at all. Problem is with their untrue rep from the idiots that have never ridden them. That's all it is. You don't buy an RMZ250/450 for resale value because it's quite a bit lower than the rest, but the bike is totally fine. Go grab the cleanest one. I prefer the 15 forks over the 14.
