I like seeing Todd back announcing the races again. Reminds me of the THQ Supercross days back in the day on ESPN, but he has to do his homework and remember these riders names. After all of this time, he should know by now. I agree about getting DB in the booth full-time next season.

RC should know when to retire. Seriously, that was pathetic. I feel like a kid being taught what SX is when I listen the broadcast. I have also a big issue with the over positivism. Sounds dumb sometimes.

Daniel Blair was born for the booth. He is so smooth and is head and shoulders above anybody else. I really hope he is the full time guy next year.

I think it’s a numbers game for Todd. Last night there were 5 riders out of the 22 named Justin. That means he had a 22.7% chance of getting it right…so I think those are great odds. Better than Vegas…

We get it, everyone hates the broadcast, the cameramen on RDL all suck, the directors never follow the action and Makeup to Mud is the stupidest thing ever. Can we please stop crying every week about something new? There was so much action Saturday that we should be able to talk about nothing but racing.

I think this is still worth talking about. Everyone wants to "grow the sport" and the announcer spent half the race not saying 1 of the top rider's name correctly. Don't you think it would be weird if Monday Night Football called Tom Brady, John Brady multiple times during the telecast? It is what it is, but I still think it is worth discussion. I think Daniel Blair has proven that he is very deserving of the spot in the booth, for a variety of reasons.

I get your point, and I agree with you, but we want to grow our sport and make it more professional. I took 2 NEW FANS to Detroit this weekend and they were absolutely blown away with the Opening Ceremony and all the action going on, asking questions about riders (I knew the proper names), and loving all the experience. What would NFL fans say if the Announcer kept saying Tim Brady, or Arnold Rogers They have ONE JOB TO DO, if you can't do that job, get someone who can!

It really makes you wonder what the politics are that keep guys like DB or Weege from getting the key announcing spots. It’s dirt bike racing for Christ's sake, get guys who are passionate about it to do the job.
