That may have been a really bad move by Dunlop come 2025

lol I feel like most the people that don’t drink monster also don’t drink Mountain Dew or eat shitty food. Rarely, (can’t recall a time tbh) do I meet someone with a healthy active nutrition program that includes monster

It's not just them. AMA/Feld is also getting too expensive to attend as either a spectator or a participant. I'm down to attending one SX and one Outdoors event a year now. Each event is $500+ for 4, more if it's fly away. I budget $1000 for an Amateur day at a LOCAL Pro National event, what with camping, memberships, gate and entry fees, fuel and food and event tickets. This year we didn't do Washougal at all simply due to cost. My son wants to try to make Loretta's next year but that's just a huge money grab now...

Deegan doesn't deserve to be in the MXDN conversation. Only riders that are here deserve it.

"because fuck em', that's why" - Jett Lawrence probably

Odd, that this was eighteen (18!) years back.

Not a thing wrong with waving/representing Old Glory with pride....if some candy-ass is offended, they can piss off. I have no issue with any country waving their flag with pride during these races. Let's see some good racing.

Luongo is that you?

Coop always struck me as the guy that could just mail it in sometimes. He needs motivation. For whatever reason, I believe the MXdN pushes the right buttons for him. I fully expect that heads down, bulldog effort from him. Gonna be great to see.

He shouldn’t be allowed to go next year either. If you dodged it in 2023 & 2024 when it wasn’t super easy, you forfeit 2025 when EVERYONE will want to go. Nobody is being a Flag Facist either. People just object to BS marketing flag waving / fake patriotism merely to stir shit against the Lawrence’s then dodging it once it takes a little effort. To 99% of American race fans a 1/1 MXDN MX2 victory anchoring a win at our sports Olympics means a hell of a lot more than winning an 8 race regional feeder class SX title...

I think it’s time for a new “Open Letter” to Coop. Something on the order of: Dear Cooper Webb, Thank you for your willingness to go represent the USA in this year’s MXdN at a time when others won’t go for various reasons. We are behind you 100% and know that you will give 110% effort, win or lose. Sincerely, ‘Murica P.S. Please, please, pleeease go to the line with a cigarette hanging out of your mouth one more time for old times sake!!!

A guy I know works on a furniture delivery team....This was dropped at the Webb Residence today:

Back in the 80's both Bob Hannah and Jeff Ward stepped back down to the 125 class to help the team, both of them had been off 125's for many years at that time. And those teams won each time out, let's hope that luck continues with the "old" guys stepping up to give it a shot when no one else could or would do it. Still wish it was Eli (on 450), but at least we have guys going that want to go and are willing to put their ego aside for the team.

As you get older opportunities come up less often, that is so awesome he put his hand up. I'm all aboard the Webb wagon for this one.

Maybe Webb can borrow the US flag from Deegan too.

Don't forget to cup the balls

"I’m excited for the opportunity to represent my country." Good on you Webb. Certainly a contrast to the person you borrowed the bike from.
