I always used a straight edge to get it started and check it again when it is about halfway pressed together. I usually can get them .004 or less before I even begin the dial indicator trueing process. The last one I did I put it in my trueing stand to check and when I spun it the indicator didn't move. I thought it wasn't touching but it turned out to be dead nut on .000 using the straight edge alone! I always use a brass hammer to align it so you don't have those marks like the one pictured...

12/20/2018 9:15pm G2 sold me a complete throttle assy for my 16 kehin equipped ktm 150sx It was a machined stock assembly to accommodate the larger cam They were supposed to do the same for the newer Mikuni equipped bikes

12/16/2018 9:03pm What were the riding conditions at the time it stuck ? My 11' ktm 250 sx throttle stuck open off a 4th gear uphill to flat jump & I severally dislocated my shoulder It was extremely hot / humid but powdery dusty sand track in Michigan I thought the slide or needle may have stuck from fine dust getting sucked...

The 2016 US KTM SXF still had 4CS suspensions, the european models had the newer AER48

16 were the first airforks, the 4CS is only used on enduro models, KTM in EU always has 4 speed, US models have 5 speed - just as the HQV in EU. Shock- and forksettings differ between KTM and HQV and EU/US.

11/28/2018 10:44pm By settings i meant suspension valving specs ( shims ) , sometimes different pistons , spacers , shock length , bleed etc.. Even small changes in this area can make a difference you can really feel

If a footpeg or some part gets you in the open part of your helmet there isn't much protection

11/15/2018 1:16am The 11' frames are completely different than 16' - 19' so the airboxes wont swap . The older airboxes need special attention to seat the filter properly
