I can’t believe they even hold a race at that venue with those concrete walls everywhere. It’s unsafe in dry weather let alone wet. It’s an accident looking for a place to happen . Just my opinion.

I’m not throwing the baby out with the bath water. Yeah, this weather cancelation sucks but shit happens. I’m sure everyone saying the SMX rounds are lame will be glued to the broadcast the next two weekends and will fill this board with their commentary. Yeah, it’s gimmicky but it’s fun and gives these guys an opportunity to make some good money. Sounds like the organizers listened to the riders/teams and did what everyone agreed upon.

NBA playoffs dont cancel the 2nd half, NFL Superbowl doesnt cancel the 2nd half, World Series doesnt stop at the 4th inning. Rain delay should be factored in for outdoor events "of this magnitude." It's not a playoff, it's just a 3 race mini series that was likely put together when WSX was being thrown around in the pits. If I sponsored a team I would be extremely disappointed if I didnt get the broadcast and advertisement time I was counting on for ROI.

The only reason the SMX exists is because the WSX was taking a bunch of the riders who would rather race SX than the nationals so Feld got together with MX sports to save the outdoors. As soon as the WSX is gone for good so will the SMX races. How the hell dont you know that?

100% they hype this shit up all year and only run 1 set of motos the whole paddock has been at the event since Thursday they can’t run two motos Sunday morning he fuck if it’s televised. No media outlet will come out and say this is bullshit they are literally in everyone’s pocket.

100% they been hyping up this shit all year and they been at the motor speedway since Thursday but can’t run two sets of moto on Sunday?. Makes zero sense this is a joke of a series but they say they are giving away millions. Fans paid so much money to camp and be there for the day but can’t even promise a second moto.

As a fan. Sure i love watching racing but this 3 race series is such a gimmicky pile of crap. IMO, Justin Cooper is your grand national champ with Webb and Jett taking their individual titles. Imagine doing the grind of this schedule without getting hurt, being consistent and getting the most points out of anyone... your reward? A measly 3 point advantage and a cancelled race out of the 3 races. What a joke. This series is about Feld and Mx sports greed and thats it.

i dont understand the penalty for jumping while flag is out .the ama rulebook says if no advantage gained its 5 points and 2 spots and if advantage gained its position gained plus 2 spots and 5 points ..I dont believe that was the case yesterday .but then again it is the AMA and they are good at not going by their own rule book at times .

9/7/2025 7:36pm SO...did anyone cover/figure out why his contract disallows him from Nation's? My guess is/was he said he is not doing SMX so they said fine you can't do Nation's then? Either way that charlotte track had like 12 endos and crashes in that same rhythm. Probably a good race not to run. It was mega dangerous.
