I have no opinion on the verdict, as I know no facts. I suppose I just have felt that this situation COULD have generated some great conversations within the industry to help with rider safety and protocols. Enjoy your (kind of) day off! :-)

Regardless of who caused what, it sure seems like Feld and MX Sports make enough to take care of the riders who suffer this sort of injury.

They decide the answers to 2 questions; 1. Was there negligence? 2. Did the negligence cause or exacerbate the injury? For two defendants it was “no” to both (“no” to 1 implies “no” to 2) and for the other defendants it was “yes” to 1 and “no” to 2. The jury is concerned with legal liability. There is more of interest here than just legal liability. I would think that the finding of negligence for two members of the medical staff would get your attention if you’re a racer and these are the people responsible for your safety if you...
