My boy is 7 and just starting out in Motocross. I wanted to get him a good mag so he can begin to drool over the bikes and gear the way I used to.

So what is a good one for just that?

Racer X is already in the house but I'm looking for a good Bike Mag.

I was thinking DirtBike or Motocross Action. I haven't gotten anything other than Racer X for years.

Isn't there still one Amateur motocross magazine out there? Maybe Holeshot? I still have all of my Minicyle mags from the early 70s, best .75 my parents ever spent.

Why not let him look at the ones you read, you will then know what he is looking at.

Just sign him up here on Vital with an Avatar of a hot chick... He will learn oodles of moto facts.... well maybe not actual facts but solid opinions.... Well maybe not solid opinions, but opinions none the less.
Dirt Rider and MXA are pretty kid friendly.

Smile Yeah, usually I would post something off the wall, but not when it has something to do with kids. Even I have a little bit of morals. Wink
