Prado is vindicated

Prado’s been vindicated. Anyone who feels differently after his past season just refuses to accept the facts.

Wow

If some management changes are not made at Kawasaki now, I will be shocked.

Two high profile shit shows two years in a row, some heads need to roll.

Back to Chase…. There must be an announcement very soon. Completely follow Jorge and go to KTM? Some Yamaha? Lewis Phillips, post a colored flag, something.

Edit: I don’t care where he goes, as long as it’s factory level equipment that he can gel with.

Yes and Chase raced 3 more races than Prado on the Kawi before he quit! Man, he really showed him up 😂

It’s pretty funny how angry Chase got at Matthes in the middle of the summer when Steve started talking about this possibility over all the others. Smoke, fire, and all that right?

Stay tuned for post where roczen literally passes a kick starter to sexton and announcers his retirement and chase to HEP.

Or PRMX Yamaha with bunch of factory support. Chiz obviously in on this somehow.

Chiz basically confirmed he's already been testing the PRMX YZ450 for Chase in the comments on IG.

No, they are just incapable of managing a top tier rider right now. Back to celebrating occasional top 5s woth Garrett.

So far I dont really see your point? Both riders quit. Correct. And yes the team tried, and failed miserably. In german u would use the term "stets bemüht"

0% chance chase rides for PRMX unless he’s riding for factory Yamaha out of the PRMX semi but last I heard was Yamaha is not interested in chase. Bobby is though.

Factory KTM. Are they going to show up at A1 with just Prado & maybe coenen? Or run Prado & sexton , let coenen ride when he’s ready. Maybe a partial sx season.

Fahie and Stjernstrom have to be gone after all this, right? Seems like Kawi brass need to clean house

It’s fairly well known that Kawi is way too conservative with changes they allow riders to make. That’s been apparent since the Tomac days. Then add in the fact that top 5 riders operate in a much smaller comfort margin than top 15 riders like Marchbanks. Then consider the fact that they clearly sold Chase a dream bike knowing that A: the bike isn’t what they claimed it could be and B: he is probably the most picky rider there is after Roczen. So when management hires a championship quality rider that has an even smaller margin for comfort, they better have a plan for how to get him comfortable. They clearly didn’t have a plan other than just trying muscle him into riding that dumpster fire of a bike like they tried with Prado. They now have 2 of the fastest riders on earth walking away from not only the bike but the management as well. Kawi needs to clean house, update their bike and their management philosophy if they want to get another top 5 rider anytime soon.

They're just now starting year 2 of a 3 year deal so nothing can be done.

It’s been that way for some time. I remember Chad Reed saying the same things. Even RV2 said a team change would have extended his career. Yamaha didn’t do a very good job with the Yamaha factory team there for a handful,of years before star took over, it happens. Hopefully Mookie can make things happen.

Mookie? Nice guy but that is laughable. A regional championship and one win in a 15 year career?

Rigid/stubborn/bad management -> stunts development of bike -> new bike sucks as a result -> management finally changes their ways after struggling and allows big swings but it's too late and you can't polish that turd, top riders still hate the bike -> management is bitter because they're finally doing everything they can and still aren't getting the results/credit for changing -> they lash out and say things publicly that no boss should ever be saying about top talent.... and here we are.

Not sure how you move forward from that without a clean slate. With new bike this year, seems like the right time to clean house.

Let’s not pretend that I was saying that Mookie will be a top 5 guy unless there are a handful of guys out. I was saying make the bike work for him and complete the season chasing Banks around the track.

Mookie is a PR pickup. Him and Plessinger can make top 10’s, the fans love them and eel out a top 5. He is a brand face saver. Smart for both parties involved. Mookie is thinking about life after racing, Kawi pays very well.

Sexton now, is finally healthy but behind the 8 ball big time. New bike, new crew, new setup, another Supercross season of rebuilding, but needs on the bike ASAP and find the direction he needs.

Chisolm getting the bike in the window would be good if he goes on the Partzilla Yamaha.

If he is on Suzuki it sounds like the bike is in a really good spot so that should be a decent transition

RB KTM he has a lot of recent setup data and would be a quick transition.

Thank you Chase for making the off season interesting.

I'd put money on Roczen doing one more season, with Chase joining him at HEP.
