The man should never have to pay for a beer again. Stud!
A real man, as opposed to those effing cowards down in Uvalde, TX. This guy is amazing....not surprised that he's a moto dude!!!!
He should never have to pay for another day at the track. Looks like he rides with the hat and hoodie he is wearing.
Yeah The MotoShop is the best place in Central Oregon for parts and service.

God I hope they don't prosecute him, or try.
Why on earth would you even think that nevermind post it?
God bless him!
I agree. Track passes for life for this guy.
I understand the concern above. It's because this badass committed a crime carrying in a "gun free zone" and its in a liberal state. I'm sure some sick libs would like to make an example out of him.
I don't see references to him possibly having charges against him now, but I did see one earlier.
I didn't read the article. I'm assuming it was about bringing a gun onto school property.
It seems they came to their senses and deleted it.
Blue State, see Daniel Perry in the NYC case.
I am not saying they should, but some whack job lawyer probably will try.
The breeder we got our last 3 pups from's husband has a moto shop just down the road from there. Bet he knows him. Most of the rest of the state other than Portland are 'normal'.
Because people are prosecuted all the time for defensive gun use?
Thank you sir. We need more good men like you in this society.
I just now saw the interview with him on PBS - ( from an Oregon TV station interview?)
A Good Man, indeed.
His thanks to the Woman Teacher, defending her Pupils, wrestling with the shooter, and, giving him the opportunity to stop the shooter, plus his apologies for not stopping the death of some of the children - well, what can anyone say about his humbleness and unassuming take on his efforts to save students and staff , but good things?
As I said, A Good Man.
I sent the vid out to a bunch of moto friends here in Bend and one that runs a shop here said he came in and picked up a new CRF450 Saturday! What a Stud!! I hope we see him at Happy moto this Sunday.
A GREAT man!! Thank you!
Good for him 💯
Pit Row
Thank you for sharing this, poor guy had to do something that I hope none of us ever have to do, but think of the lives he saved. I don't know what kind of place I would go if I knew my son was in danger and I pray that never have to find out.
I don't know about all the time, but In CA, yes.
If you have to shoot someone, you'll have to do it a certain way, or you're in trouble.
Also, if a robber injures himself while robbing your house, he can sue you.
Here is the full interview that Oregon Public Broadcasting put out which I assume you watched. An edited 7 minutes of a 45 minute interview. I'd like to watch the other 38 minutes.
The guy is so humble and kind and you can see how terrible he feels about what he had to do.

Well said!
I hope...I pray...that he's doing well with dealing with this. He's obviously a good dude and he's got a lot to deal with. Look at the 1st thoughts he has after removing the threat to all those kids...?
A damn good dude.
We all need to let him know that he did the right thing during an incredibly difficult and horrible situation.
