How close is your closest track?

Just curious how far some of you travel to ride. How close is everyone’s closest mx track to them? Also how far away is the track you ride the most? Do most of you ride the same track every week/month or do you have a certain number you rotate thru. For me the closest track is 40 miles away but the track I like riding the most (mx207) is 83 miles.

Have 2 main tracks to ride. 140 and 160 miles away. Don't go to often because of that. Northern arizona needs more tracks.

I'm In the same situation, right at 2 1/2 hours away.  Hopefully one soon in Prescott (about an hour).  Luckily there's a decent riding area nearby but no tracks only trails

Jesus. There’s probably 10+ tracks closer than that to me. The furthest I’ll travel is 115 miles to go to Southwick for the national every year. Maybe it’s not as bad in the northeast as I thought.

15 years ago there was a track 30 miles away in a rural area. A lawyer built a new house close to it, you can guess what happened next.

My childhood private track is about 6 miles away, its funny, youd think growing up there, id have some footage of it but there is nothing.  It's a killer track; very thankful a family friend bought it after my dad passed and takes amazing care of it.

Then about 20 miles up the road there is another Public track in a town called Sutton.  Then 52 miles away a track in Anchorage that is meh.  Guess i am a little spoiled in Alaska.

Didn’t even know Alaska had mx tracks.

We have 3 Major open to public all week ones, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai.

Then the one in the video is Private owned but hold ride days every Tuesday Thurday.
Another Private owned in a town called Sutton, they open whenever they feel like they want to hear the noise, end of season
My private childhood home track, and there are quite a few other private tracks around.

Pretty spoiled up here as we also have endless trails and mountains to ride

Damn, feel sorry for you guys. I'm in the middle of Illinois and I have at least 5 tracks within an hour. 2 tracks less than 15 minutes. Not counting private tracks

I have one fifteen, one 45 and one 50.  Some years I ride the 45 one six - 8 events.  The 50 mile one maybe 3 a year.  The closest one is not great but I have a membership that lets me go whenever I want. Been there almost fifteen times this year.  Not great but at least it’s some  where to ride.  The 50 mile away track is great but I have no membership and they have few events.  The 45 mile away track is improving but no memberships.

7 mile drive I think. If I take my bike to work with me, it's 2mi off the route I commute to and fro and can hit after work for a few hours.

If I'm feeling lazy, can rip some secret single track on BLM about 3 minutes behind my house. Just hop on the bike and ride out of the shop.

I live in the middle of San Francisco and can still get to 2 tracks in under an hour, another in about 70 minutes, Hangtown in an hour and forty, and like 4 other tracks around two hours. I've got no complaints for having to live/work in a major city and still being able to easily ride year round. Sometimes traffic sucks getting back home, but at most it adds 20-30 minutes extra and I'm already riding the post-moto high anyhow so I never care.

There’s 4 good tracks near me, 10-40 minutes drive from my place.
There’s also a few private tracks if you’re in the know.
I can also access 100’s of Km’s of trails less than 100m from my house.

The Northeast honestly has it pretty good. Not all of the tracks are great, but most of them are fun, and well maintained/groomed. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of in the Northeast is a lack of flaggers and medical staff at some tracks. You really need an EMT on site and multiple blind jumps with no flaggers is... worrisome.

I just hate our limited riding season due to the cold and also the lack of trails/public riding areas. There’s more mx tracks near me than legal ohv trails.

Dude all I hear is that frisco is the world’s biggest shithole now and just expensive as hell. I haven’t been in so long, how is it there these days?

Unfortunately here in crappy old England we don’t have public trails anywhere so you have to go to enduro events for anything even close.  Quite a few tracks though, closest one to me is FatCat Motoparc which is sand and has 2 decent tracks, about 40 mins away for me.  I have around 6 tracks within an hour and my favourite track Preston docks sand track is about 2 hours away.

40 minutes closest. 1 hour 20 worth riding. Cincinnati area is desperate for tracks. Columbus area seems to be much better suited for moto. And those aren't California type times, 40-65 miles for each.

Jacksonville Fl, not considered by many as a moto town....but we have 5 tracks within an hour, all great to ride for different reasons.

PAX, Waldo, Bostwick, Okeefenokee, NFMX, WW, (not open often).

Love it used to be my favorite track now I like 508 better… maybe because it’s about 15 minutes closer
about a 215 lap time has a nice sandy section, etc. They generally groom it pretty well as well.
