He did Franciacorta in 09 at 15yo. Herlings did it as well before he even raced his first GP
This is my fifth year as manager for Team Finland and this is first time we got top 10 gate pick from the ballot. Guys have given me so shit because of that, but finally a decent one. So happy about this 👍
I wasn’t sure if Rozen rode that Nations. I’d remember correctly Herlings had just turned 15, possibly making him the youngest rider ever to race the Nations.
Now you've just set precedent, and they expect it all the time!

Juju’s bike looks fantastic! Has anyone got the scoop on whose bike it is? Lucas’ back up GP bike??
Frankly, I can't see how this list is right, and I'm surprised that I'm the first to point it out: what about Danny "Magoo" Chandler's dominating performance in '82? He won all the motos in both the TdesN and the MXdesN. For Jeff Smith to be on the list, then I suspect the writer has screwed up his definitions of what counts as as part of this event when it used to be run over two weekends and for two displacement classes.
Magoo's performance that year was truly inspiring, and deserves not to be forgotten or minimized.
So Magoo won his MXdN class once in 82, any other wins? Jeff Smith won his class 4 times at MXdN, '55, '56, '57 and '64, what are we missing here that you are trying to point out?
Back in the day, the MXdN was 40 guys on 500's, the Trophy Des Nations was 40 guys (and likely most being the same guys) on 250's held over two weekends on different tracks. With the one day, blended event run in the modern era, what makes up a "class" is one third of that number mixed up with the other two displacement classes over two motos. Chandler beat all comers on all bikes at both events, a feat never repeated. The way results are recorded now, it is quite conceivable that a rider could win the open class (or whatever it is that corresponds to that class today) but be beaten by a number of other riders in other classes in the motos and the class results will not be evidenced in this chart. And, while I'm a big supporter of the 500/open class, I think it's unfair from a historical perspective to ignore the Trophy des Nations as an equal class to the MXdesNations, especially when this chart seems to include the other displacement categories as part of the MXdN "wins" list. I guess Magoo would at least be a two time winner, but he does deserve an asterisk given the singular nature of that two race/four moto achievement.
Start slow and cut behind the pack to the inside.
belgium for the win by looks
As pointed out by a few, that list is just taking into account, in 'Luongo' speak - MXoN , results. Only counting the MXdN - the 500cc races - ignoring the TdN - 250cc - results.
So, not Only is Magoo short changed, a Fair Few other Very successful Riders are pushed down, or not on that, 'MXoN' list.
When it was separate 250 and 500 events, you, generally, had the same blokes competing, or, variations of those with backing / bike availability / or, being 'specialists' in a particular class, that elevated their suitability for one or the other event.
It's just a Luongo List, basically.
KTM Europe built it with a USA spec motor as per Ian Harrison

the only thing i hate about Des Nations, is that NO one is releasing any limited edish gear. I dont wear fox or fly but i would spend the money for them. I had the Ferry 03 thor and the Windham 05 nofear and both set i wore forever.
26th
Yep, gate drops count delay 3 seconds and head straight to the inside for a mid pack start.
