Whatever he wants and he’s certainly earned that right. Also probably breathing a sigh of relief that he’s never going to have to do an interview or be on camera anymore. A blind man could see he was never comfortable in that situation. 

Getting his pack and rifle ready for elk season. Or, squeezing in some last minute archery elk hunting. Between that, feeding mini cows and horses, fixing fence, etc. 

Now that would be very cool!🙂

Probably reflecting on what he accomplished for a few minutes...and then...moving on to the life he always wanted. Peace, quiet and privavcy. 

Probably somewhere  near some kinda dirt bike....

What brand bike does he ride when he does decide he wants to ride again?

Probably taking a sip of his early morning coffee, and while the mrs is sharing the full rundown of property upgrades and ideas she’s had in mind for a while, thinking WTF have I done.

It would be interesting to hear some of these guys talk about what it's like when it's over.  Presumably Tomac has spent a large portion of his waking hours for the last 20 years concentrating on training, riding and dieting.  Is it a relief to not have to worry about that?  After a month of not worrying about it, do you start to wonder about the purpose of your life going forward?  I'm sure different people have different reactions.  But that's a lot of inertia in his life that he has to slow down.   For some guys, I don't think it ever really stops.  Hasn't Johnny O'Mara still pretty much trained/cycled like a madman for the last 40 years?

back to topic.  hopefully he woke up for the first time with zero to do today and can take his mtb for a casual ride with his dad and discuss what's next, if anything at all...

I think it'd be really cool for him to take a little bit of his dad's career and maybe take a shot at some downhill and or Enduro mountain bike racing!

But I could see him racing some Porsches in the future.
